Welcome!
My name is Olivia Llamas, and as the president of the Alpha Sigma chapter of Delta Gamma at UCLA, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our official website! If you are interested in going through recruitment, I encourage you to explore the site and learn more about what it means to be a UCLA DG! For all alumna and active members, welcome home!
Being a Delta Gamma means more to me than I could ever express in words. I know I am speaking for all of the women in my chapter when I say that I could not have picked a better family to spend my college years with. Our chapter is comprised of an incredibly diverse, talented, intelligent, and accomplished group of young women, and each woman brings something special and unique to our sisterhood. UCLA Delta Gammas serve on student government, write for The Daily Bruin, volunteer on campus and in the local community, and hold competitive jobs and internships. Whether they are scoring the winning game point for one of our amazing UCLA athletic teams, busting a move in one of UCLA’s top dance crews, or broadening their horizons by traveling the world, my DG sisters are never short of accomplishments.
As busy as we may be, however, Delta Gammas still manage to squeeze in plenty of time for fun. I can honestly say that most of my favorite UCLA memories have been made with my DG sisters, cheering on the Bruins at football and basketball games, hanging out at the beach, attending Hollywood movie premiers, and dressing up in crazy, hilarious costumes for any one of our many different social events.
Joining Delta Gamma was, without a doubt, the best decision of my college career thus far, and I am so proud and honored to be a part of this chapter and the ideals it represents. I have made so many friends and countless memories that will last a lifetime, and if you are considering going through recruitment, I hope that you, too, are able to find a place that makes you this happy!
